The CDSBEO is supporting art teachers and students in the creation of four First Nations banners that will be displayed at our high schools. Each banner represents a section of the Medicine Wheel (North, South, East, West). Two students, Shelby M and Emma K, and I participated in the painting of two banners this past Tuesday. St. Mary's banner will be presented to our school on May 4, 2016. Below are photos of the day (including Emma, Shelby, and a local Elder who presented at the event).
